ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The Hub
The Hub is a psychosocial clubhouse model program serving adults with serious mental illness. The Hub's mission is to support people living with mental illness in their recovery journey. The Hub provides a restorative environment for people whose lives have been severely disrupted due to their mental illness, and who need the support of others who are in recovery and who believe that mental illness is treatable. The Hub adheres to the belief that every member has the potential to recover from the effects of mental illness in order to lead a personally satisfying life as an integrated member of society.   • The Hub operates Monday-Friday 8-5 and occasionally offers activities and outings in the evening and on weekends.
  • The Hub offers opportunities to build friendships, engage in social and recreational activities, explore employment and educational goals, develop advocacy skills and work side by side with Hub staff on the tasks related to the operation of The Hub.
ABOUT THE POSITION: Driver
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Establishes rapport and working relationship with all administrative staff across CHR and external providers as appropriate.
  • Responsible for reporting concerns of vehicle, cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of vehicle.
  • Responsible for following CHR's policy and procedure for safe driving and use of company vehicle.
  • Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards including maintaining accurate documentation of mileage log. Responsible for securing the company's gas card.
  • Adheres to all road safety regulations, including ensuring passengers follow proper safety procedures for transportation, i.e. wearing of seat belt.
  • Keeps supervisor aware of any mail issues and/or concerns.
  • Keeps program supervisor aware of any client issues and/or concerns.
  • Responsible for transportation of client to and from appointments, as arranged, safely and on time.
  • Responsible for obtaining transportation itinerary/directions to meet needs of clients/passenger.
  • Responsible for ensuring all mail is handled with care and confidentiality is practiced.
  • Participates in staff meetings, supervision, training and other meetings as assigned.
  • May perform other assignments and duties, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: HS diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Prior driving experience is preferred. Lived experience and in recovery from mental health illness or substance use preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Driver's license and valid vehicle insurance.
Training: Basic computer skills required.

COMPENSATION*:
$15.69/hr
*Our per diem and fee for service positions offer a flat hourly rate.
