Route Driver Trainee

Route Driver Trainee needed at Safety-Kleen in West Brookfield, MA. This position will involve training to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route. Safety-Kleen will pay for CDL training. Non-CDL route driving experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean out sediment from sinks
• Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to secure CDL B, Tanker and hazmat endorsements within 4 months of employment, company paid
• Strong customer service skills
• Perform physical functions per job requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
