Job Description:
You will be responsible for transporting material and equipment safely and efficiently from one location to another. You will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. This position is a combination of local and over the road travel.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class A trucks and trailers to transport material and/or equipment to various destinations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
  • Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other team members to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
  • Crane certification/operation a bonus but not required.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver large trucks in various driving conditions.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
