Beacon Behavioral Support Services is one of the largest and most established behavioral health programs in Louisiana. Patient Transporter-PRN
Beacon IOP in Metairie is looking to hire a PRN Driver. The Driver is responsible for providing transportation services for Beacon patients to and from the outpatient clinic in Metairie via the facility van.
The PRN Driver:
-practices safe driving and obeys all traffic laws
-operates the van in compliance with traffic regulations and health system policies
-provides for patient safety and comfort
-provides routing vehicle checks prior to use
The clinic is open Monday-Friday. This position requires no night or weekend shifts. The driver gets 6 hours of pay per shift (shift hours are 7:00am-10:00am, a break in between, and then 1:00pm-4:00pm).
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must possess valid Class D driver's license.
- Two years of experience transporting patients preferred.
- Clean DMV record.
