Pines of Sarasota is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Full Time Driver for the hours of 8am- 4pm Monday - Friday.
The Driver will perform the following tasks:

• Drives a box van truck throughout the community to pick up donated items and return them to the Thrift Shop for eventual sale.
• Load and unload donations and handle the transfer of merchandise from the storage sheds onto the sales floor.
• Maintain a neat and orderly furniture department and assist in maintaining the orderly operation of the Thrift Shop, generally.
• Assist with cleaning and repair of donated items in order to prepare them for sale.
• Assist with phone calls regarding donations or other inquiries and maintain accurate records regarding donations.
• Attend to the register as needed.

Requirements
The ideal Driver will meet the following requirements:

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience in driving a box truck van or other delivery vehicle.
• Knowledge of the geographic community and street locations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Clean driving record
• Valid drivers license
