Position Details:
Datrose is seeking a Forklift Operator for a one year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire. The pay rate is$19.00/hr.? Theshift is 11:00am - 7:30pm, Monday-Fridayand the facility is located inEast Rochester, NY.
Who We're Looking For:
Candidates with Forklift Certification to work in an industrial/warehouse environment. Experience should include picking stock, using handheld scanners, loading and unloading materials. A team player, with good communication skills and a mind for safety. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
What to Expect as a Forklift Operator:
Perform various manual activities under minimal/direct supervision
Picking stock
Light manufacturing
Building pallets for shipment
Loading and unloading materials
Ordering, storing and delivering supplies
Using hand scanners
Heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
Work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications for Success:
High School Diploma or GED/HSE is required
Fork Truck License required
Need steel toe safety shoes
Basic mathematic skills
Prior Warehouse/Dock experience
Detail oriented with time management skills
Must have knowledge of Microsoft office, specifically Word and basic Excel and Outlook
SAP knowledge is preferred
