What You'll Do
Serve as a transportation driver for HCBS staff using a company vehicle. Clean, sanitize, and maintain an orderly environment for the residents, clients, members, employees, and guests by thoroughly cleaning areas which may include, but are not limited to the clients' homes, common areas, and offices.

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday availability between 6:00am-5:00pm.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the company vehicle to meet housekeeping needs while ensuring the safety and well-being of employees being transported.
  • Maintain the company vehicle including, but not limited to cleaning, fueling, inspection and maintenance.
  • Provide housekeeping services for clients in accordance with client's service plans and instructions from the Housekeeping Supervisor which may include:
    • Cleans, disinfects, and properly dispose of bodily fluids according to blood borne pathogen regulations.
    • Washes, dries, folds laundry.
    • Performs bed making, linen changes and replacement.
    • Cleans lobbies, lounges, restrooms, lanais, corridors, elevators; client homes and other facilities.
    • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums; cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture.
    • Dusts furniture and fixtures.
    • Washes windows and window treatment, sills, tracks, door panels
    • Empties and sanitizes waste baskets.
  • Communicate any supply needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Comply with ACS policies and procedures related to: annual employee health screenings in accordance, safety protocols, compliance with corporate, state, and federal safety guidelines.
  • Exercises caution and good safety judgment in uncertain conditions or situations. Reports and/or corrects potential or actual hazards.
  • Respects and observes residents', clients', and participants' rights and privacy.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
Valid State of Hawaii Driver's License and clean driving abstract
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
