This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).$1 increase @90 days then another $1 increase after 9 months2nd shift 2 pm to 10:30 pmPRIMARY PURPOSE- ENSURES PRODUCT IS PACKAGED AND LABELED CORRECTLY WITH EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY APPEARANCE. PRODUCT IS THEN SHRINK WRAPPED AND PLACED IN DESIGNATED STORAGE AREA IN THE WAREHOUSE PRIOR TO SHIPMENT. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING THE CURRENT PRODUCT AND ENTERING ALL MOVEMENTS IN SAP USING RF SCANNER. ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.Attention to detail and record keeping.2.Review and plan for the daily production schedule specific to your position3.Communicates with Packer Operators on product schedules as well as any quality issues.4.Maintain a clean workspace during production and at the end of the shift.5.Reports to the Lead Operator6.Report all Accidents and Near-Misses immediately. Use eye for safety to log in the system.7.Report all Maintenance issues to Lead Operator and enter work orders.8.Create positive relationships with coworkers.9.Other duties and projects as assigned.The above listed duties are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Incumbents will be expected to perform other duties as assigned.What You'll Need To Be Successful And SafeEXPERIENCE:1.Strong organizational skills & excellent communication skills are essential.Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.Ability to drive a fork truck.Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions.Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency and work safely.Ability to drive for excellence in all areas; focus on effective internal relationships.High School Diploma or GEDAbility kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, climb, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated workAbility to lift 50 pounds repetitively daily.Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments/PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS1+ years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
