This team member will be responsible for the environmental health of payloads during transports and the payload transport Environment Control System (ECS). This team member will seek proactive solution to enable streamlined process. This role will require a wide range of skills and a self-driven attitude that will be essential to support demanding schedules and changing priorities.RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain the health of all payloads during transport operationsDevelop and execute processes to meet transporter configuration requirementsCollaborate and work cross-functionally to understand transporter configuration requirementsResponsible for ensuring proper adherence to said requirements, specifically the Environment Control System (ECS)Maintain the ECS for our transporterOperation of Hangar ECS systemContinuously look for opportunities to improve processes, equipment, and the work environment; support productivity improvementsMaintain calibrated and non-calibrated tool inventories, purchase replacement tools as needed and identify new tooling solutions to increase efficiency in the work centerCollaborate with engineering staff from other departments and SpaceX locations to resolve off-nominal issues and ensure flight readinessMaintain clear communication with engineering, technician, and logistics teams as requiredAssist production teams with corrective actionsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalency certificate4+ years of hands on experience in manufacturing or maintenance operationsPREFFERED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Experience with HVAC systemsExperience with payload and cleanroom operationsExperience with manufacturing or production of fluid systems and mechanical assembliesActive Secret ClearanceAble to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging environmentAbility to work AutonomouslyUrgency to complete and improve mundane tasks that require expertise and attention to detailSelf-starter that is able to find projects without direction to improve efficiency on the floorExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applicationsKnowledge of high pressure pneumatic, hydraulic and cryogenic fluids systemsUnderstanding of fluids system schematics and procedures related to launch operationsAble to be diplomatic with a variety of individuals across the organizational infrastructureKnowledge of mechanical hardware (fluid fittings, fasteners, etc.)ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape CanaveralAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearanceMust be willing to travel at least 10% of schedule to other SpaceX locationsMust be flexible with work hoursCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Pay range:Integration Specialist/Level 1: $30.00 - $38.00/hourIntegration Specialist/Level 2: $34.00 - $43.00/hourIntegration Specialist/Level 3: $38.00 - $48.00/hourYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
