Delivery Manager
Key Responsibilities :
Governance Framework :
Design, implement, and maintain a robust governance framework for project or service delivery across the organization.
Ensure alignment with corporate objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Project Oversight :
Provide governance oversight for ongoing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with agreed scope and quality.
Monitor performance and compliance with agreed-upon project methodologies, policies, and procedures.
Risk Management :
Identify potential risks related to project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure effective risk and issue management processes are in place, escalating major risks to senior stakeholders when necessary.
Stakeholder Management :
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, business owners, and third-party vendors, to ensure delivery is in line with governance standards.
Facilitate communication between different business units to ensure smooth project governance.
Compliance and Audit :
Ensure projects adhere to internal and external audit and compliance requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and compliance teams to ensure that any identified issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Performance Reporting :
Develop and deliver regular performance reports on governance and compliance metrics to senior management.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving project delivery efficiency and governance.
Training and Development :
Develop and deliver training programs on governance best practices for project teams.
Promote a culture of accountability and compliance throughout the organization.
Continuous Improvement :
Identify areas of improvement in governance and delivery processes, and lead initiatives to enhance them.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to governance and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on experience in IT consulting or high-ticket IT professional services.
- At least 7+ years of experience leading, managing, and growing high-performing project delivery or governance roles.
- Experience working with large-scale projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and project management methodologies.
- Excellent risk management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to generate actionable insights from data. Strong general knowledge of digital transformation trends and agile methodologies, with a fundamental background in Agile success.
- Experience partnering with leadership team, scaling into a product-oriented consulting firm with responsibility for resource delivery and engagement.
