Description
Chip Van Hauling
Experience hauling logs.

• Safely operate long and short haul trucks to transport logs to designated locations.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Load and unload logs as required.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, logs, and deliveries.

Requirements
• Valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (CDL required), Operator/driver of a Class A-required vehicle.
• Capable of driving a Heavy Duty vehicle with trailer; c
• Drive a manual CDL class vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
• Follow all Safety Program, Policies and Procedures
• Cleaning and maintaining whichever truck he/she may drive and operate.
• Working safely and efficiently, meeting the set production schedule each day.
• Serve in alternate roles such as groundperson or equipment operator if needed
• Follow detailed instructions with precision.
