A traveler friendly facility in Glens Falls, NY is looking for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN). The nurse must be able to care for laboring women. Minimum 2 years experience with labor and delivery. Recovery and postpartum care, fetal monitoring/neonatal resuscitation. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and intermediate EFM from AWHONN preferred. PALS not required. STABLE is preferred. Travel experience preferred. 22 bed Snuggery - Nurse-patient ratio-1:1 labor, 1:3 M/B - Requires Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) - L&D Lactation: must have knowledge of breast feeding process/Anti-partum/Post-partum/Premature Infants -- Must have travel experience. - Unit requires De-Escalation training through Welle, CPI or PMC S.
