Job Summary:

Senior Software Engineering Manager for the Adobe Product Delivery engineering platforms within the Digital Marketing Enablement division has leadership oversight for 5+ software engineering team members, as well as agency and supplier team. Leader will have day-to-day responsibilities for supporting the team in implementation and development of new features and functionality on Adobe Sites, Assets, and Shop.cat.com platforms. Leader will provide vision working alongside the business and the team to develop and execute a strategic plan for the respective platforms. Align with business on critical business initiatives and provide support to team to ensure delivery of software products maximizing business value.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides technical support and direction to teams and team leaders. Acquires resources necessary to accomplish work on time.
  • Manage the budget within plan.
  • Oversees performance of individual team members and team as a whole. Identifies and addresses staff training and development needs.
  • Coordinates walkthroughs and reviews; ensures conformance to standards and adherence to design specifications.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Monitors and troubleshoots performance and schedule issues.

  • Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.
  • Software Development: Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce software products or systems in line with product requirements.
  • Software Development Life Cycle: Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace.
  • Software Integration Engineering: Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop and maintain interfaces and linkage to alternative platforms and software packages.
  • Software Product Design/Architecture: Knowledge of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into the software product design.
  • Software Quality Assurance and Testing: Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing; ability to apply appropriate processes, tools, and techniques for assuring a high level of quality in computer software products and systems.
  • IT Service Management (ITSM): Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) service; ability to manage IT services and oversee service operations.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • 3-5 years leadership experience with strong background in software engineering and technical leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field OR equivalent working experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Products and Delivery.
  • In this role, you will be managing people as well as Adobe Stack of Products hands-on.
  • Experience managing a Team Onshore as well as Offshore.
  • Experience with Digital Marketing and Content Management platforms.
  • Strong background and awareness in Accessibility and CyberSecurity.
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure) and Java-based solutions.
  • Strong Planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong business judgement, including analytical, problem-solving and planning skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of initiating and accountability.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consensus building skills.

Additional Information:

This position is Hybrid.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary for this role ranges from $153,000 to $229,000. Actual salary will be based on experience. The total rewards package, beyond base salary includes:
