Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a Mobile Mammo Driver - Tech Assistant to join our team!
Transports mobile medical imaging equipment to client sites along the mobile route and maintains equipment according to specifications. Working closely with all members of the Imaging team, he/she is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment as well as functioning as a receptionist, transporter, positioning aide, and runner for supplies. This individual assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing room cleaning and set up tasks, cleaning the department traffic areas, stocking supplies and performing end of the day cleaning tasks.
HOURS: Supplemental or .3 FTE, 24 hours every pay period. Day shift.
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology not necessary but preferred to perform duties.
Previous clinical medical work experience beneficial.
Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED. Possesses a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License and Class B CDL License.
Must pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
Must possess a safe driving record.
Must be able to understand and comply with the applicable DOT safety and compliance rules and regulations.
Must be able to interact with client personnel and AWH team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional and ethical manner.
Must be able to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Must be flexible, reliable and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
Able to demonstrate competency in all applicable areas.
Must be willing and able to train and assist other drivers and team members.
