Are you ready for a hands-on role in a dynamic environment? We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Assistant to help deliver products and support our warehouse operations!
What You'll Do:
Delivery Support: Ride along to assist in delivering products across various locations in the metro area.
Loading & Unloading: Help load and unload trucks efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
Inventory Management: Inspect route sheets, gather materials and supplies, and organize inventory in the warehouse.
Warehouse Tasks: Engage in shipping and receiving interior construction products, including flooring, ceilings, windows, and specialty services.
Site Visits: Work at 5-10 sites per day , gaining diverse experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Hard Skills:
Experience: 6+ months in warehouse/material handling
Physical Ability: Able to lift 50-60 lbs repetitively and up to 100 lbs several times throughout the week.
Tech Savvy: Ability to navigate a computer for route tracking and inventory management.
Soft Skills:
- Team Player: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with a team.
Job Type:
- This is a Contract-to-Hire position lasting 90 days .
Work Site:
- Location: Fully on-site position in Golden Valley, Minnesota.
Work Environment:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM (must be flexible to start as early as 5 AM or stay as late as 5:30 PM for longer routes).
Team Size: Collaborate with a dedicated team of 5 others in the warehouse.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay starting at $20/hour+
