Summary of Job Description
A Shuttle Driver provides transportation services for hotel guests to and from the property in a safe and timely manner. Responsibilities include operating a shuttle van and assisting guests with lifting and storing guest luggage and items in transportation. Shuttle Drivers must maintain accurate driver logs in accordance with department and company policy and schedule cleaning and maintenance for the shuttle as needed. Shuttle Drivers must adhere to traffic laws and hotel policies, maintain a professional appearance, and provide excellent customer service throughout the journey. Strong navigation skills, a valid B driver's license, and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
This rate for this position is $16.85 per hour.

Education/Experience
- Minimum 1 year hotel, customer service, and driving experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required.
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, overnights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
- Understand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel.
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to upsell guests into rooms that fit their needs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.
- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
- Strong team player, able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.
- Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Safety requirements of PPE as needed for duty assigned and with use of required cleaning chemicals.
- Safely transport hotel guests to and from the property
- Lift and store guest luggage and items in transportation
- Maintain accurate driver logs in accordance with department and company policy
- Schedule cleaning and maintenance for the shuttle as needed
- Provide accurate information to guests in regards to shuttle pick-up and drop-off times
- Verbally welcome and open doors for guests entering/exiting the Hotel front entrance
- Greet guests at their personal vehicles and explain relevant parking information
- Assist guests with directions to various locations
- Recommend dining establishments, entertainment venues, shopping centers, etc. as needed
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the front drive, lobby, valet desk, and surrounding furniture and public space
- Assist with additional Bell/Valet duties as requested
- Carries out supervisor requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures
- Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards
- Follow all appropriate policies and procedure while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations
- Follow safety and security procedures
- Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team

- Additional cleanliness or guest services duties as assigned by management
