Job Details for Van Driver:- Job Type: Part Time
- Area of coverage; Lackawanna County
- Pay up to $17 per hour
- Typical Hours M-F between 1pm to 4pm
- averaging 10-30 hours per week
The Van Driver will be responsible for the transport of students from school to extra curricular activities and will oversee a variety of activities at specific venues. The Driver will ensure the safety and well-being of children, while also providing a positive and engaging experience.
Responsibilities for the Van Driver:- Safely operate a van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport children, adhering to all relevant safety and security protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized van, including regular cleaning and sanitizing
- Provide assistance to children, as needed, including helping them with their belongings and ensuring they arrive safely
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive environment for all children
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and other support staff to ensure the needs of all children are met
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience driving a van or similar vehicle
- Experience working with children, preferably in a childcare or educational setting
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and camp activities
- Strong communication skills with children and adults
