Forklift Operator - 1st Shift ($500 Sign-On Bonus)

Purpose: Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using either a reach truck, forklift or manually
Essential functions and responsibilities

• Select orders fresh/frozen
• Rotating & understanding FIFO (first in first out)
• Monthly inventory: FG monthly /boxes weekly
• Loading/unloading trucks
• Input orders
• Follow company’s policies and procedures
• Attend training and meetings as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 2 years of warehouse experience and rider jack experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Able to work flexible schedule-(may require working weekends/mid-shifts/nights)
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Must have some computer skills (windows excel/office)

Work environment

• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in 40 degree temperature
• Work well in fast paced environment

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Intermediate skills with Excel and Word

Required attributes

• Flexibility and able to work independently

Schedule
This first shift role is scheduled for 7:00am-3:30pm +/- 2 hours based on production needs.
