Our client in the logistics industry is seeking a skilled MHE Operator to join their team in Austin, TX. As an MHE Operator, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the work site. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a team that ensures the timely delivery of goods to customers.

Job Title: MHE Operator

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: Up to $19.00/hr

What's the Job?

  • Load, unload, and move materials within or near work site

  • Inspect materials for quality/defects

  • Manually move materials onto or from pallets and shelves

  • Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas

  • Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet

  • Clean work area, machines, and equipment

  • Assemble crates to contain products when required

  • Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers

  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations

  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating various types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach trucks, etc.)

  • Ability to identify material by part number or written description

  • Experience operating A forklift

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
