Pickup/Delivery Driver

Job Summary
The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise from one location to another.
Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Communicates efficiently and practices customer courtesy when out on location.
• Abides by customers rules and regulations when on location.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least 3 years delivery driving experience.
• Must have a Class A CDL license
• Must be able to DOT Physical, Background & Motor Vehicle Checks, and Drug Screen
• Clean Shaven to meet customer sites dress codes
• Remain flexible for On-Call Shifts

Preferred Experience & Aptitude

• Forklift Experience
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to pull and back with goose neck and bumper mount trailers
• Proper licensing on the vehicle that is being driven

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting and driving at a time.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.
• Must be able to drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.
