As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will be an integral part of defining the overall approach, resourcing requirements, timelines, and paths to success for our projects.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with both client and internal leadership to ensure projects remain on track.
- Define overall team structures and stand up new engagement teams.
- Write proposals and produce presentation decks and other supporting artifacts to persuasively communicate winning strategies to prospective clients.
- Work with senior members of client teams to provide strategic guidance and delivery strategy.
- Work with delivery teams to define cadences and ceremonies.
- Lead strategy sessions and other activities that support project success.
- Help teams remove impediments and optimize productivity.
- Provide additional day-to-day leadership as needed.
- Facilitate continuous growth and improvement, particularly in the area of Agile practices.
- Support additional internal company needs as necessary.
Who you are:

What you have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience leading and managing Agile software delivery programs or in a related technical field, with at least 3 years working in a leadership role.
- Ability to synthesize cross-functional knowledge, such as in the areas of design and system architecture, to develop effective solutions.
- Extensive experience applying Agile principles in fast-paced project environments, especially in a leadership capacity.
- Understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design, to development, quality assurance, and deployment.
- Familiarity with web technologies and systems architecture (e.g., Java, .NET, Social Technologies, Content Management Systems, Portal Technologies, eCommerce platforms, Rich Internet Applications, Web Services/Service Oriented Architecture and Open Source Technologies).
We would love to see:
- Experience working on large government projects.
- Experience vetting third party vendors and their ability to support business needs.
- Extensive knowledge of industry adopted technologies such as Continuous Delivery Patterns and Practices, Configuration Management/Automation Technologies, and Software Virtualization Technologies and Cloud-native Architectures.
- Knowledge of data science, and other emergent technologies and concepts.
- Experience in multiple programming languages.
- Experience in related fields, such as UX design.
- Experience practicing Test Driven Development, Pair Programming and other Agile methodologies.

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $145,000.
