Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Kearney, NE

**Job Description:**
- Work in a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 10 spacious, private LDRP rooms, 2 antepartum rooms, and 1 OR Suite.
- Responsible for managing patient ratios of 1:3 for couplets and 1:1 for laboring patients.
- Engage in charting and documentation using EPIC.
- C-section experience required, including competency in circulation.
- Be part of a collaborative team, including a Charge Nurse, Lactation Counselor, Unit Secretary/Notary, Maternity Educator, and Nurse Aides/OB Techs.
- Participate in a weekend rotation every 3rd weekend, with the possibility of every other weekend based on need.
- Required to work one major and one minor holiday.
- Hospital scrubs provided for the role.
- Utilize the OBIX Fetal Heart Monitoring System and MediTech EMR for patient management.
- Engage in skin-to-skin care practices, ensuring newborns remain with their mothers at all times.
- Provide care for mothers from 32 weeks onward, with transfer out if necessary; no VBACs.
- Strong teamwork-focus department honored as a 'Safe Sleep Champion.'
- Possibility to float to NICU for feeders and growers only.
- Participate in 1-2 days of floor-specific orientation.
