Position: Material Handler

Material Handler responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and loading orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete logs for inventory, vehicles or deliveries as required
- Report any discrepancies
- Able to multi-task
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Proven working experience as a material worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to squat, twist, reach and stand/walk for an entire workday
- Ability to work in Texas weather i.e., heat, cold, dust, rain
- Able to work occasional overtime and some Saturday's
- Ability to use a measuring tape
- Forklift Experience
- High School diploma
- Ability to read, write and speak English or Spanish
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Other duties as assigned
