Safety-Kleen is seeking a Route Driver Trainee to train to drive a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route. Safety-Kleen will pay for you to obtain your CDL. The role includes visiting 10-12 customer sites per day, switching out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions, servicing parts washer machines and cleaning out sediment from sinks, upselling at customer locations, and generating new leads in the field. The position also involves servicing automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing businesses, completing daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Qualifications include a Class B CDL, obtaining Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment, basic computer and math skills, good written and verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
