Essential Functions
Account Executives manage potential and current clients, ensuring their needs are addressed in a very timely and accurate manner. This will range from packaged licensing and services to custom projects with detailed statements of work.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed an aggressive sales quota for hardware, software, projects, and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Work closely and directly with clients to identify business needs, desires, and requirements
  • Educate customers, providing solutions to enhance their capabilities while meeting compliance requirements
  • Provide written proposals and statements of work to meet the needs in a timely manner
  • Update all customer information and opportunities in a CRM solution and utilize identified sales processes and procedures
  • Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries in a prompt, professional manner
  • Support sales leadership ensuring client information and opportunities are up-to-date and accurate
  • Periodically prepare and report results, status of accounts, and leads to sales leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Systems, or related field preferred
  • Top Secret Clearance
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Ability to work independently and a strong desire for personal and professional development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Highly desired, but not required:
    • 5+ years technical IT and/or IT-related sales experience
    • Thorough understanding and knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure based solutions and partner product lines
    • Basic understanding of classified environments and technical requirements (Accreditations, NIST SP.800-53, DCSA Assessments, Authorization Process Manual, and other security frameworks)
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Occasional travel
  • All candidates MUST BE a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass an extensive background check

Work Conditions
Work will typically be performed either remotely or within a SCIF. Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. The person in this position may need to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. May occasionally need to position self to maintain computers, including under the desks and in the server closet. The person in this position frequently communicates with employees and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
