Responsibility Profile :
• To coordinate the tests with the Driver Training Department
• Be able to work outside in all conditions to administer the behind the wheel tests
• Communicate and collaborate closely with DMV, the Training Department and the Safety Department
• To accurately and timely perform the paperwork associated with the training and testing of new drivers
• To collaborate with the team to help design and improve the training platform
• To become familiar with and remain current on the New York regulations for school buses
• Willing to become a NYS Article 19-A Certified Examiner
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• To hold a driver's license with A PS or B PS endorsements for a minimum of 18 months
• Experience in training school bus drivers in both Class B PS and Class C PS vehicles
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with less than 7 points currently on record
• Currently NYS Article 19-A certified
• High school diploma.
Annual Salary - $62,400
