Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Modesto, CA

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse - Maternal Child Health

**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
**License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- ACLS

**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in labor and delivery settings.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
- Monitor and document patient progress, treatment, and responses in medical records accurately.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and clinical judgment to manage high-risk labor and delivery situations.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
- Maintain current knowledge and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Over five years of recent experience in labor and delivery within the last two years.
- One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
- High-risk OB experience is preferred.
