We're looking for a Sit-Down Forklift Operator , working in Manufacturing industry in Arlington, Texas, United States .
Our client has immediate openings for a Sit-Down Forklift Operator conveniently located at our Arlington facility. Our current openings are on 1st shift.
We offer medical benefits and salary is up to $17 per hour based on qualifications.
Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials and products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate and timely shipment of goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records.
• Perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory counts as needed.
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated storage areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Experience Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures, including loading, and unloading trucks, order picking, and packing.
• Familiarity with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
