Feed Mill Driver / CDL-A Driver

As a Feed Mill Driver / CDL-A Driver with Hillandale Farms, you will be a vital part of our transportation team, responsible for safely and efficiently transporting feed amongst company sites.



*Essential Job Functions*

· Short and intermediate local routes delivering feed to Hillandale Farm sites

· Responsible for loading, delivery and unloading of feed

· Ensure contents are properly secured for transport to intended destination

· Complete pre and post trip inspections

· Complete all necessary delivery documents

· Other responsibilities as assigned



*Qualifications*

· High School Diploma preferred but not required.

· CDL-A Driver License credentials with current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

· Ability to drive manual transmission

· Alert, focused and detail orientated

· Reliable, dependent work ethic

· Minimum of 1 year driving tractor-trailer.

· Ability to maneuver safely and drive around objects at the farms.

· Ability to walk up and down stairs.

· Able to lift 40-60 lbs.

· Repetitive lifting, bending and stair climbing.

· Possible extended hours and/or weekend hours to meet operational needs.

· Dusty Environment.

· Conscious of surroundings at all times.

· Able to follow instructions closely and perform multiple tasks as directed.

· Attention to detail needed as well as aware of surroundings at all times.

· Ability to read and write in English and to communicate and work closely with employees at all levels of the company.

· Must have good sensory abilities including sight, hearing and touch in order to perform job duties.
