We are seeking a skilled and dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team in West Columbia, SC. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of food products, miscellaneous goods, and furniture to big box stores in the area. You will be operating a tractor-trailer and be responsible for regular vehicle inspections, hooking and unhooking of trailers, and maintaining accurate and detailed records of all deliveries and pickups.
Responsibilities:

• Open/Close Trailer Doors
• Complete fuel tickets
• Hook/Unhook trailer
• Perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive local routes within and around the West Columbia, SC area
• Maintain punctuality in delivery timing and general work attendance
• Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle and Trailer

Minimum Qualifications:

• Drivers must live within a 75-mile radius of the pickup location
• Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• Drivers must have valid Class A CDL license from the state of residence
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Drivers must have a relatively clean driving record
• Drivers must be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test
• Drivers must be able to work Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous reefer/dry van experience a plus
• Willingness to work weekend shifts when available
• Previous experience with multi-stop routes preferred
