Job Description:
- The main function of an installer/driver is to install displays at customer facilities.
- Assemble and refurbish decor.
- Assemble and decorate new holiday orders per the specifications of each order.
- Work within warehouse facilities and on customer worksites.
- Install and service interior plant displays, flowers, replica foliage, holiday decor, ambient scenting and wall art for commercial businesses.
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage one's time.
- Ability to work on ladders and scissor lifts.
- Ability to drive up to 20% of the time.
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly.
- Previous experience with design.
- Will be driving a box truck. No CDL needed but an MVR will need to be run.
- DOT certification a plus, but they are open to candidates willing to get certified. Possible FTE conversion but not guaranteed. If not converted the role will end after 6 months.
- Role will require truck loading as well. Candidates must be able to lift between 50-75 pounds. Experience with a boom lift and/or scissor lift a plus.
- Max drive distance will be 30-45 minutes. Basic Excel knowledge a plus. Previous Amazon, US Government Client, UPS, FedEx drivers would excel in this role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years' experience.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam or hold a current and valid DOT medical card with previous truck driver experience preferred. Landscaping experience is a plus.
