Expected results and achievements include:
• Safely operate ready-mix truck with timely deliveries and order accuracy
• Complete routine maintenance of equipment, including reporting minor mechanical issues and thorough cleanliness of unit daily
• Contribute to keeping areas in and around the plant clean and hazard free
• Comply with BURNCO policies and local, state, and federal regulations
• Complete required paperwork such as pre-trip/post-trip inspections and work orders
• Escalate concerns to supervisor
Primary areas of responsibility include:
• Understand and foster safety culture
• Safely drive and obey all traffic laws
• Truck maintenance & housekeeping
Required knowledge, skills and abilities include:
• Ability to maintain proper attendance while working irregular hours
• Ability to work from other BURNCO plants based on business needs
• Ability to pass PSP, MVR, background check, drug test and physical assessment
• Ability to manage emotions in stressful or frustrating situations
• Ability to learn ready-mix designs and material components
Preferred qualifications include:
• Valid CDL license
• 2 years ready-mix or 1-year commercial driving experience
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration
Pay rate: $25 and up per hour
Work location: 48th and Harvest St, Aurora, CO
Travel requirement: 100% locally
Physical requirements include:
• Regularly exposed to various weather conditions
• Constantly uses eye/hand coordination and near/far vision
• Frequently stands, walks, sits, climbs, bends, reaches, lifts to 50 lbs, carries up to 50 lbs
• Requires active hearing/listening
