Responsibilities:
Summary
This position transports residents in accordance with standard operating procedures of the facility and as required by Company and client contractual requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Transports residents by Company van from facility to outside appointments.
- Maintains the safety and security of residents at all times while transporting them.
- Oversees all resident activities while boarding vehicle, transporting them to destinations and departing the vehicle.
- Performs scheduled resident headcounts and completes written count reports in a thorough and timely manner.
- Reports resident accidents or injuries to supervisor.
- Reports all resident behavioral problems in writing to supervisor.
- Enforces the rules of conduct with the residents.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license from state in which the duties are performed.
- One (1) year professional driving experience preferred.
- Excellent driving record.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
