Part Time Driver / Transportation At Lantern Crest Senior Living

Description of the role:

As a Part-Time Driver at Lantern Crest Senior Living, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services for our senior residents. Your primary duty will be to pick up and drop off residents to various locations, such as medical appointments, shopping centers, and social events. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents during their transportation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive residents to and from their desired destinations in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the assigned vehicle
• Ensure adherence to traffic laws and maintain knowledge of safe driving practices
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and family members to provide prompt and efficient transportation services

Requirements:

• Requires a minimum of at least one year of professional driving experience. Driving for a senior living facility experience preferred
• Must possess a CA Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement and have no traffic violations within the last two years.
• Excellent knowledge of the local area and roadways
• Ability to operate and navigate GPS systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with seniors
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
