Must have Class B License and good driving record.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
  • Possess a valid and active drivers license
  • Possess Commercial Driving License (CDL)
  • Meets federal/state/company driving standards (may include license verification, drug testing and driver's test)
  • Meets motor vehicle records clearance requirements
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to treat all people with sensitivity and courtesy
Essential Functions:
  • Drive community residents to outings including doctor's appointment, banking, and activities
  • Assist residents with boarding and exiting the bus. Secure wheelchair clamps or safety belts as required
  • Prepare the bus for operation by performing pre-trip safety inspection. Monitors the ongoing condition of the bus during operation
  • Prepare required paperwork and submit in a timely manner for LRC records
  • Able to perform essential functions listed n Ride/Check Review
  • Assist residents with unloading parcels/packages from shopping trips
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Some weekends or after hours work
Physical/Sensory Requirements
  • Lifting and carrying loads, walking , bending, stooping, sitting for long periods of time, fine hand coordination adequate eye sight, grasping, pushing, pulling, distinguishing smells, taste and temperatures, remain calm under stressful conditions, hear emergency and call systems of residents

  • Potential for exposure to blood borne pathogen
