Technical Delivery Manager

Location: MUST BE LOCAL TO CINCINNATI, OH (Onsite presence required)

delaPlex, Inc. seeks a dynamic Technical Delivery Manager for a long-term client project. This leadership role demands an onsite presence in Cincinnati, Ohio, and entails overseeing the full lifecycle of a Warehouse Execution System powered by Azure SaaS and other on-premises technologies.

This is a Contract Position with an immediate start date, with strong possibility to convert to FTE in 6-12 months.

Tasks

Scope of Role:

• Leadership role as a full lifecycle SDLC leader to manage all aspects of an Azure SaaS powered and on-prem Warehouse Execution System.
• The role will be focused on managing a large team of engineers to deliver full software development lifecycle. The sprint, QA and performance teams will report to the Product Manager.
• The landscape is developed in JAVA with a strong focus on developing micro-services and API-based capabilities. A new mobile and portal-based UI is also included.
• Lead the complete lifecycle management of intricate software systems, covering App Services, REST APIs, Cloud Native Patterns, Event Streaming, Message Queues (KAFKA, Azure Service Bus, Red Hat AMQ etc) and Authentication/Security protocols.
• The role will be supported by operational managers, talent and recruitment, and finance support.
• Bring leading SDLC practices to the teams and create a culture of excellence, covering full management including release cycles onto an Azure cloud environment.
• Build high-performance teams and foster a positive culture of engagement, development, and associate improvement.

Requirements

What we are Looking for:

• 7+ years on software development teams.
• Experience in managing a large team.
• Collaborative and consultative leadership focused on engaging with teams to improve performance.
• Building multiyear plans.
• Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycles including agile methodologies, automated QA and testing, and performance engineering.
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, Salesforce, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of consulting services and project methodologies.
• Proven track record of customer-facing roles.
• Ability to manage a team across multiple locations.
• 25% - 50% travel to the end customer location(s).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday
