Delivery Truck Driver

US Foods is looking for Delivery Truck Drivers to join our team and be part of one of the largest food distributors in the industry. As a Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers, unloading products, verifying delivery accuracy, handling customer payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
• Unload products from the trailer and place them in customer storage areas
• Verify delivery accuracy and obtain proper signatures from customers
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the client experience
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
• Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift
• Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
• Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation
