We are seeking an innovative and passionate Project Manager who shares our vision of bringing the power of cloud computing to enterprises, leveraging their extensive program delivery experience. This role leads our largest and most transformative programs for our most strategic customers, serving as a trusted advisor to our key customers. This involves guiding our highly skilled and collaborative project teams, both non-technical and technical consultants, and handling relationships, deliverables, and outcomes. Our Project/Program Managers are also domain authorities who actively participate in the project, leading customer relationships, delivery methodology, scoping, contracts review, knowledge transfer, and financials.

Your Impact

  • Create and lead project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed, and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects while also ensuring that project gates and governance are properly adhered to during the execution of the project.
  • Track utilization of project resources against the prioritization and budget. This includes on-time entry and approvals for project timesheets.
  • Run routine execution of project implementations. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation, and status updates for the project.
  • Lead scope changes and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Able to run one or two large projects or a couple of small to medium-sized interrelated projects requiring complex multi-functional collaboration and management at the program level.
  • During the course of a project, be the primary customer interface and perform project management activities that ensure alignment with Salesforce methodology and project gates and governance.
  • Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with a good eye for business and in-depth analytical skills.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of project results, as needed.
  • Facilitate and lead the creation of Salesforce technical design documents for complex projects, by communicating with Technical Architects and Developers, as needed.
  • Adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all projects.
  • Find opportunities to demonstrate all Salesforce technologies.
  • Facilitate review sessions with the client and your team.
  • Participate in end-to-end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication, and organizational change.
  • As necessary, write and review QA and UAT test scripts.
  • Lead UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off.
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.
  • Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with client project team members by providing vision and future product road-mapping.
  • Have difficult conversations regarding budget, resources, and timeline and formally collect and communicate outcomes of those meetings.
  • Responsible for all project work, reviewing those results prepared by the team prior to submission to the client.
  • Identifies and leads project risk.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience, in a project management role leading enterprise-scale CRM projects.
  • SFDC experience is not required but parallel implementation experience is required.
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills with direct responsibility for running project teams, budgeting, and scheduling against a customer or vendor contract.
  • Lead internal and external project customers; confirmed negotiation, conflict management, issues, executive communication, and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with good executive presence. Verbal and written; ability to work with remote teams during non-traditional business hours.
  • Ability to lead both small and enterprise-wide engagements, facilitate meetings, mentor teams of junior team members, and proactively run project risks.
  • Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to identify dependencies, produce project plans and estimates.
  • Ability to proactively identify and handle project risks.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25%.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Agile SCRUM Master Certification.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) preferred but not necessary.
  • This position requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation as well as obtaining and maintaining the specific level of U.S. Government security clearance required for this role. U.S. citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized) is required.
  • Must reside/located in the Washington D.C. (Maryland/Virginia metro area).

Possible travel of about 25%, but exact travel requirements will vary based on customer.
