CDLA Truck Driver
Reporting to Warehouse Manager
Ensures the proper delivery of all completed finished goods. Maintains accuracy between shipments and bill of lading. The CDLA Truck Driver is responsible for performing duties in accordance to established shipping procedures. They are required to maintain efficiencies and timely shipments to external customers

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have be accurate and precise, able to lift 50 lbs or less, able to use a computer, ability to communicate with carriers and internal managers and be a problem solver. The individual must be capable of operating without direct supervision. Must be CDL-A licensed and have a clear driving record. All new hires must have High school diploma or equivalent.
Safety Policies and Practices
All employees are required to wear safety glasses and steel toe shoes while in the manufacturing area. Sound protection is required in designated areas. Rules for employee conduct are covered in the employee orientation and in the employee handbook. To operate a hand truck, fork truck, reach truck and clamp truck the employee needs to be licensed within a responsible time period. During this period, the trainer is responsible for the trainee's safety in the operation of these trucks.

CDLA Truck Driver
Reporting to Warehouse Manager
Ensures the proper delivery of all completed finished goods. Maintains accuracy between shipments and bill of lading. The CDLA Truck Driver is responsible for performing duties in accordance to established shipping procedures. They are required to maintain efficiencies and timely shipments to external customers
Job functions include but are not limited to the following.
- Perform inspections of trucks and maintain all driver's logs of their activity.
- Review all pallet label information to determine the label represents the pallet of finished goods.
- Use forklift and reach truck for material handling.
- Determine the cleanliness of the load and use the pallet cleaner as needed.
- Communicate issues with Logistics Manager.
- Perform final inspection of pallet looking for accuracy and any damage.
- Use proper safety systems and safety checks for dock locks and entering and leaving a truck with a fork truck.
- Keep records and logs updated and accurate to reflect shipping activity.
- Complete and turn in all documentation to accounts payable or receivables.
- Maintain housekeeping in and around company trucks and around dock, storage, and shipping yard.
- Assist in material handling and in the receiving coordinators functions.
- Help support the bailing function
- Perform physical inventories as needed
- Other duties as assigned
