The Hyatt Place Columbus OSU is seeking a shuttle driver / houseperson to join our team and support the Grandview Yard collective. If you have a great personality and excellent people skills, this is a great opportunity for you. This is a dual role performing both shuttle driver duties and houseperson duties while not operating the company shuttle. Weekend Availability is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
Shuttle Driver
- Provides excellent customer service ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Transports guest to/from destinations safely and as needed.
- Provides guests with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner.
- Ensures guest belongings are properly tagged and secured.
- Operates the shuttle in a courteous manner, ensuring the safety of the guest.
- Assist incoming and outgoing guests by transporting luggage/baggage to and from the guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
- Must be able to work on your feet (standing, walking, climbing) for entire shift while enduring the elements - this could include extreme heat/cold, rain, snow, wind, etc.
- Must maintain a professional appearance.
Houseperson
- Attend to lobby and public spaces to ensure cleanliness including public / team member restrooms and refuse.
- Attend to linen needs by preparing/ sorting dirty laundry, stocking clean linens in closets, and organizing laundry area.
- Clean, organize and stock all linen closets.
- Stock and organize housekeeping supply room, housekeeping supplies, and guest supplies.
- Perform projects assigned daily in response to Management / Supervisor request.
Required Skills:
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to drive automatic transmission vehicles of all sizes with ease.
Required Experience:
- Minimum one year customer service experience is required.
- Previous shuttle or large vehicle experience is required.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of the area and attractions within the city.
