Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Hettinger, ND

**Must-Have:** Experience in LDRP with the ability to manage couplet care
**Job Description:**
- Work in a Labor and Delivery department with 3 L&D beds and 3 postpartum beds.
- Manage patient care from labor through postpartum in the same room (couplet care).
- Handle common diagnoses including active labor, elective inductions, and low-risk pregnancies (37 weeks and up).
- Float to Med-Surg approximately 80% of the time if there are no laboring patients.
- Administer and titrate drips according to policy, including Pitocin and Magnesium.
- Collaboratively operate with other RN staff without assistance from nurse aides or surgical techs.
- Ensure a 15-minute response time for OB providers and anesthesia availability.
- Complete electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) using paper charting.
- Participate in self-scheduling with manager support from 7 AM to 7 PM; block scheduling may be considered.
- Work every other weekend and potentially every third weekend; cover every other holiday.
- May be placed on call due to low census.
- Follow the uniform policy: any color or pattern scrubs with closed-toe shoes.
- Complete a one-day and one-night unit-specific orientation for acclimatization and training.
- Use the Meditech charting system.
