Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material HandlerJob DescriptionDay shift material handling and forklift operation. Hours are 7am to 3:30pm. Responsibilities include stacking, handling, and moving products/skids throughout the plant, including finished products, materials, scrap, trash, and equipment safely and without damage. You will organize and stage WIP inventory in secondary operations to facilitate production. This position involves basic data entry and some computer work. You need to perform simple mathematics to record and maintain tally sheets, inventory sheets, inventory tags, and scrap weights. The company makes copper cable/wire. Safety-toed boots or shoes are required at all times, including during the interview tour. The company has a dress code. Once the position moves fully to New Holland, contractors work a 12-hour shift and are paid for all 12 hours.
