Delivery Driver I

Pay Range: $23.00-$24.00/hr.

Position Overview

Responsible for delivering materials to job sites, maintaining the truck, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves driving a truck with a capacity of more than three tons, though may also include less experienced CDL or tractor trailer driving.

Essential Job Duties

• Operates truck safely and efficiently
• Maintains a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
• Organizes and secures load for delivery
• Assists with loading and unloading of materials
• Checks orders for accuracy and completes deliveries to customer satisfaction
• Complies with Department of Transportation guidelines
• Provides excellent customer service and relays messages as needed
• Maintains cleanliness of truck and performs pre-inspections
• Completes assigned training and other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months CDL experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
• Basic math and reading skills required
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various climates
• Proficiency with or ability to learn necessary technologies
