Box Truck driver (26 foot)OverviewThis is for a flooring company out of Goose Creek that is rapidly growing within the Charleston Market. Experience with flooring is a major plus but the main responsibilities will be driving the box truck, load and unloading, and operating the lull on various construction sites. Jobs are mainly commercial jobsDescriptionWe are looking for a box truck driver and lull operator who values a long-term opportunity with room to grow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading an unloading flooring products from the job sites or different locations into the box truck. This will be utilized and transported by a Lull (a construction forklift). This will also be very labor intensive and individuals must be willing to lift up to 50lbs and carry flooring on and around the job site. Lull forklift is not required. Candidates who come from appliance delivery, moving, or material delivery are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities include:Transportation: Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport goods to various locations to different sites in the Charleston area.Loading/Unloading: Operate a lull forklift to load and unload materials from the truck.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies..Onsite work: Assist with moving materials around the job site as directed. No more than 50LBSTeam Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and other team members to ensure efficientThe Ideal Candidate Possesses:A minimum of one year driving a 26 foot box truck.Experience doing some sort of hands on work (appliance delivery, moving, etc.)Experience working in some sort of outdoor environment.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.A clean 10YR motor vehicle driving record.A reliable form of transportation to and from job sites.Additional Information & how to applyThis person will have exposure to Management team as well as Field team, there the ability to move up in the company is possible as demand continues to grow.This is not a temp role, nor a temp to hire role.
