Job Title: Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift
As a Forklift Operator, you'll be a crucial part of our operations, responsible for efficiently and safely moving units of flooring, veneer, plywood panels, raw materials, and finished goods products. Your role is essential in maintaining a smooth workflow and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Essential Functions:

• Operate forklift equipment after specific training and authorization.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections and report any equipment damage or safety concerns.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse or facility.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety procedures.
• Assist in inventory control and submit required devices for daily production calculations.
• Accurately load and unload trailers within standard time frames.
• Weigh materials, record production data, and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Adhere to quality control standards.
• Be flexible with occasional shift and hour changes, including overtime, to meet customer service demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Expected Hours of Work: 7:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Sunday - Thursday; Friday hours will depend on production demand. Overtime work is required when needed.
Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in a related environment or equivalent training and/or education.

Pay & Benefits:

• Competitive Hourly Pay - $16.07 per hour.
• $1.00 per hour shift premium for 3rd shift.
• Overtime hours and pay.
• Full Plan of Benefits.
• $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days - $200 after 60 days; Remaining $300 after 90 days.

Work Environment: The work environment may include exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise levels. Safety guidelines and applicable PPE must be followed.
Physical Demands: This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The ability to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds is essential.
