Position: Delivery Driver
As a freight business, we are in the Durango/Cortez/Pagosa area most days of the week
Duties would involve: getting orders from the Grand Junction team (to whom you would report), unloading trucks, staging freight, managing freight on the dock, loading routes onto box trucks and fulfilling the deliveries using a box truck with a liftgate/pallet jack and hand trucks.
Deliveries range from curbside to full service white glove (inside, room of choice, 2 men, de-trash,etc). Our box trucks do not require a CDL to drive, but require 2 years of commercial driving experience and a clean MVR, no drug/alcohol convictions or other serious violations such as leaving the scene of an accident). We are doing full service deliveries, customer service is critical.
Candidates need to be responsible, thorough, and friendly with a clean appearance. This is more than just a driving job - the perfect candidate would have a combination of good driving skills, good work ethic (it can be a physical job), attention to detail when managing /delivering freight, and the ability to problem solve while in the field.
This is a remote location who would report to management at a different facility, so we are looking for responsible and ethical candidates who can be trusted with company resources without minute to minute oversight. There is room to grow once someone can establish these duties.
Pay $18/hour
Job Site: Travel required. Locations will vary.
