Regional Manager - Solar Transport

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide Leadership to direct reports, including, but not limited to, hiring, training and development.
   1. Direct drivers in developing and implementing best practices, measuring operational efficiencies, continuously improving productivity, and achieving operational standards of excellence.
2. Works with Dispatch and Regional Fleet Assistant(s) to establish work assignments that effectively balance work among Drivers, recognizing volume peaks and Customer requirements to support our 99.8% Run-out-free performance standard.
   1. Partner with Safety, Recruiting, and Fleet Maintenance to ensure the availability of equipment, Drivers, and programs to meet all operational requirements.
3. Ensures that all safety policies and procedures are implemented and monitored, including but not limited to, ensuring drivers are properly trained, equipment is regularly inspected and compliant, and following all reporting procedures for accidents and spills.
4. Works with Fleet Managers and Regional Fleet Assistants in the "carding" of new drivers at regional terminals.
5. Collaborates with team on strategic and operational planning and new opportunities.
6. Act as the driver advocate with internal departments to answer driver questions and resolve driver concerns and issues.
7. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education

1. High School diploma (required), with advanced training and education (preferred).
2. Previous experience in trucking line management preferred.

Qualifications: Experience

1. 5+ years of experience in the transportation industry, experience in bulk fuel transportation preferred.
2. Previous experience in trucking line management.
3. Knowledge of DOT/OSHA/EPA regulations, and accident and spill procedures required.
4. Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Excel.
