Roman Chariots, LLC, an authorized delivery service partner for Amazon, has immediate openings for installation/handyman in the Springfield,Virginia area.
Roman Chariots specializes in the assembly and installation of office furniture, commercial furniture, residential furniture, swing set, play-set, grills, outdoor furniture, cubicle system, Fitness equipment including a treadmill, elliptical, home gym for Residential and Commercial customers. We service Washington DC - Maryland and Virginia.
We are currently hiring for a reliable and skilled Carpenter/Tradesman/Handyman with good experience; good work ethic and good performance.

FOR THIS POSITION ONLY - HIGH SKILLS REQUIRED BUILDING OUTDOOR PLAY EQUIPMENT & OUTDOOR FURNITURE MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE BUILDING ALL KIND OF FURNITURE, WOODEN PLAY-SET STRUCTURES, SWING SET, PLAY-SET, STORAGE SHED, OR HAVE HIGH SKILL HANDYMAN EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivator with excellent customer service and communications skills. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to do the following constantly for up to 10 hours per day:

• Lift packages weighing up to 50-300 pounds
• Climb stairs carrying packages
• Make deliveries in inclement weather (rain, snow, heat)
• Make frequent stops, constantly get in and out of a vehicle
• Using GPS and camera technology

Responsibilities:

• Deliver packages to residential and business customers as directed.
• Assist other delivery associates as directed by dispatcher or site managers.
• Operates vehicle in a safe manner, maintains vehicle cleanliness and refuels as needed.
• Loads vehicle for delivery.
• Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old to drive
• Must possess a valid driver's license for at least three years
• No patterns of driving violations or suspension of driving privileges or more than -1 on their record
• No major at fault accidents or reckless driving.
• Have the ability to pass an MVA check and meet our customers' guidelines
• Successfully complete a drug screening.
• Have good physical strength and endurance.
• The ability to endure 20-40 plus stops per day.
• Must be able to work weekends (either Saturday or Sunday), holidays, and five shifts per week .
• Must work ten hour shifts - 40 hours (3 days off) or 30 hours (4 days off)
