Truck Driver/Shipping Assistant

Job Summary:
Transport raw materials and finished goods between warehouses and plants.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate company-owned trucks for shipping and receiving operations.
• Load and secure product for transport.
• Assist in preparing and loading product into truck.
• Complete shipping documents accurately and timely.
• Perform user maintenance and required reports.
• Drive in compliance with the law.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A/CDL license with clean driving record.
• 1+ year experience as a truck driver.
• Ability to understand vehicle maintenance and operation.
• Ability to read and understand maps and written instructions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of transportation regulations.
• Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:
Work in factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and physical hazards. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
