Title: Delivery Manager/Technical Project Manager

Location: Remote, but travel to Sacramento (5%-10% travel)

Duration : 36 months

PR: $70-$75/hr.

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Delivery Manager to join a large product development project currently underway as part of a comprehensive behavioral health modernization effort. This project, led by a top technology consulting firm, focuses primarily on engineering and project management services. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for leading delivery and effective management of project staff KPIs and OKRs to maximize team success. They will also create reporting and accountability in relevant Atlassian tools like JIRA. The ideal candidate will be a critical driver across the project, bringing extensive experience in both product and project management, as well as expertise in the Atlassian toolset.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with teams to identify and create plans around budget, team structures, scope, and other items to help deliver against OKRs.
• Proactively identify waste, process improvements, and team improvements, developing an evolving strategy to meet objectives.
• Facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings to empower teams to raise risks and collaboratively create solutions to impediments, risks, and challenges to organizational goals and objectives. Ensure risks are tracked, owned, and driven to solutions by the team.
• Continuously monitor and improve contractor development to elevate abilities, skills, and morale, improving KPIs. Encourage contractors to bring solutions and ideas forward to better overall DHCS outcomes and goals, promoting excellence.
• Work with DHCS to ensure collaboration with Coaches and COEs, providing visibility and transparency on initiatives and efforts to increase overall performance.
• Facilitate successful staffing and onboarding processes to ensure resources are onboarded and effective.
• Create management and communication plans and processes, including Risk and Issue management, OKR lifecycle, etc.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience in Delivery Management/Project Management within a relevant industry/domain.
• Extensive experience in headcount planning and allocation within a project delivery context.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools, including expertise in JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience may be substituted on a year-by-year basis.

Plusses:

• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Previous experience in client/customer delivery.
